Howdy y'all.
Borrowed my mom's camera... new pictures. Yay :)
I meant to get a picture of my homecoming dress, but it got dark really fast and the lighting in my house is horrible. So maybe next post.
Saturday was homecoming. And it was pretty amazing.
The sophomores at my school are LIARS. They told me, "Oh, homecoming's not a big deal, you guys [naive little freshmen] are gonna be disappointed!"
Lies. I had the time of my life. :D I think the sophomores are just bitter.
My friends and I all had dinner together before the dance, which was fun. Except my friend's somewhat overly enthusiastic mom had us pull mammals out of a hat to determine where we would sit. I got wombat... I thought wombats were marsupials?
Anyway. The wombat table made a wombat handshake. XD GO! WOMBATS! FIST BUMP! BOOOOOOM!
They did a great job of decorating our school's gym. They hung star-patterned streamers from the ceiling, so it didn't even seem like you were in a gym anymore. It was really crowded though... my school's kinda big (about 2500 people) and about 1500 showed up at the dance.
So yeah. Lots of fun. :)
